Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Trosbet collects, why, and your rights. We handle data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

• Account: your email address, a hashed password (we cannot read it), and the matches you star.
• Sign-in with Google or Telegram: the basic profile those services share (name, email for Google; Telegram does not share an email, so we ask for one).
• Preferences: colour, light/dark mode and time zone.
• Payments: for tips and memberships, Paystack tells us the amount, status, email and payment method type. Card and mobile-money details stay with Paystack.
• Technical: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept briefly for security and to fix problems.

Why we use it

To run your account and sign you in, send password resets and receipts, keep the site secure, count ad views and clicks (in total, not per person), and understand which features help users. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site: our hosting provider, our email provider (for password resets and receipts), Paystack (payments), and Google or Telegram if you choose to sign in with them. If ads are shown, ad networks such as Google may set their own cookies; see the Cookie Policy.

How long we keep it

Account data while your account exists; payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require; server logs for a short period.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email trosgate@gmail.com from your account's address. You may also complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

Children

The site is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and will delete it if we learn we have.
